About the Role
The Pre-Vetting Inspector will be responsible for the following duties:
Preparing the vessel as required by VIQ 7 for SIRE Vetting Inspection. This includes ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date and readily available, conducting pre-vetting inspections, identifying potential issues, and offering practical solutions to enhance vessel performance and safety.
The job duration from Port A to Port B is approximately 4 to 7 days, depending upon the voyage.
During this time, the Pre-Vetting Inspector will be required to stay on board the vessel and conduct inspections as necessary.

We are seeking a highly qualified Pre-Vetting Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master Mariner - Tanker qualification, pre-vetting experience, and possess computer skills. In addition, the candidate should have completed Navigation Audit course, ISM / ISPS & MLC Audit course, Lead Auditor Course IR Class or Equivalent, and TOTA (Trainer of Trainers and assessor) courses.
Responsibilities:
Conducting pre-vetting inspections and preparing reports on findings
Identifying areas of improvement and offering practical solutions to enhance vessel performance and safety
Collaborating with the team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Maintaining accurate records of inspections and reports
Requirements:
Master Mariner - Tanker qualification
Prior experience in pre-vetting inspections
Navigation Audit course

Lead Auditor Course IR Class or Equivalent
TOTA ( Trainer of Trainers and assessor )
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
